yeah!....disney band 2003 ruled! great advice for someone wishing to audition. the gig pays pretty well and you're sunny southern-california for two months. they pay for your apartment and bills during your stay plus pay about $300 after taxes. as far as the audition, be ready to wow them in five minutes of prepared stuff. it helps if can blow over changes (which i could not) or play a funky/jazzy tune/bass line. don't freakin' play "ride of the walkeries", "founatins" or any other BS orchestra exerpts. it's a sousaphone gig and they really don't care if you can blast really loud low E's. also, be able to sight-read your butt off. sightreading plays a huge factor in getting the gig as we sight-read every week when the clinicians come in. also, it helps if you can double on bass guitar pretty well. hope this helps and good luck.
