I guess I could hvae been overdoing it... They are pretty good compared to California College bands, but look like an overfunded hood-rat band compared to Ohio State or Michigan... I guess I mean that USC has a highly regarded music program...but I've heard the band is fun! I would think you would be in marching band for fun as well as a musical experience. Then go to the rest of your music classes/rehearsals for the real technical stuff.
