As a student here I know i'm biased, but Duquesne University has a phenominal tuba teacher in Neal Tidwell. Not only is he a fantastic player and gifted teacher, but he will go out of his way to help his students whenever they need him, and he'll even help other players if they ask. My horn-playing friend got an hour and half lesson after asking Mr. Tidwell for help. I jumped eons ahead in my playing in only my first semester here and can't wait to see how I progress in the next seven.
