Just because it isn't likely doesn't mean it isn't so. However, if one finds a 3 valve Conn CC tuba from the 1920s it is likely to be a rare example of Conn's output and as such should probably be preserved as is rather than trying to use it for parts. There are too many good 4 and 5 valve CC tubas available, both new and used that are reasonably priced to bother trying to make this into something it isn't.
