What I was reacting to was the amount of misinformation and rumors and player bashing that I see on this BBS. It disturbs me BECAUSE young people see it. Some of them are greatly influenced by it. Some of them could care care less.
I was very upset when I read last week's comments about Paul and the Philly Orchestra. Those type of comments are hurtful - both to the particular player involved and to the abovementioned group of people who could be effected by it. (Obviously, I was.)
Absolutely, the reply that Gene played the CSO York on the Vaughan Williams "Six Studies" was innocent enough and I do apologize if I had offended anyone. It's just the accumulation of untruths that bothers me. Again, I DO apologize for the outburst -
