yeah i agree im currently playin a Besson Sovereign 982, which has a great sound(despite it is over 20yrs old!). good for playing in brass bands, orchestras, solos and smaller ensembles like brass quintets. Although i would reccomend the 983 more. The 983 has a front valve action system, which makes the intonation better than the 982, the sound is alot rounder, and easier to blow through than a 982. The 983 is currently being used by my teacher Matthew Walmsley in the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra. Its a great versatile horn for any kind of playing. It retails for arround $18000au, but is available for around$13000au if u look around. A SERIOUSLY GOOD HORN TO CONSIDER!!!.
