The best BBb tuba that I've ever played is that "cheap" Veltklang/VMI/Schneider "tall" 4-rotor model with a .748" bore, 16-1/2" bell.
If you don't at least agree with me that that this tuba is quite good, you've never played one.
' no axe to grind. ' just was once again reminded of the extraordinary playing characteristics of these tubas as one passed through the shop today.
