I also went to Kalamazoo Tuba Christmas conducted by Robert Whaley. sp? Rehersal was great in the church we made such a pretty sound in the chapal. Aprox. 50 players. Andy Miller and other great musicians attended from Westren Universitiy. The out door stage was heated which made it much easier to play together. I thought this was one of the best sounding TC ensembles I have got to play in. Although the Octtuba Fest there was GREAT to be a part of!!! Staff and student members at Kalamazoo, Western University were outstanding in there perfomances. All were very friendly to new players in the ensemble. Was all a great Musical experience for me this year and plan to be back next year.
