Not to sound cold, because that's not what this BBS is all about, but it really shouldn't matter how many people or what level the auditionees are on. If you prepare to your fullest ability, the results will be the same whether there are 50 or 4 euphoniumists there... I think a lot of the reason that many people haven't discussed it much on this board is because they don't wish to make a big deal about it in front of their peers - aspirings euphoniumists are rather competitive at times. Regardless of my opinionated banter, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and all others the best of luck at this audition. Don't worry about what you're up against...you'll figure it out when you get there, and if you're smart, you'll push that aside until AFTER your audition. Best to all!
