the other guy was elected. There is nothing wrong with working at wal mart or anywhere else. you should open you eyes to what has gone on in this country since the Reagan tax cuts.I'm not blaming Reagan I'm blaming everyone who has served in Washington and the many greedy corporate heads. The tax structure has been re-written to allow corporations to get rid of thir manufacturing plants lay off workers cut benifits and stop r&d. They make more money as brokers and middlemen then as manufacturers.Patriotism includes protecting the jobs and lifestyle of the people of this country. You can't do that when you import 50 billion more than you export. We no longer develop the cutting edge products we once did. We are now reliant on other countries for the tools we need to build our weapons.we can not build a f117 on our own! We should follow the example of our international competitors and move to protect our industry.
What does this have to do with Music ? Everything. We are distroying the fiber of this country. We need to have art and music and it is the governments responsibility to make sure we do. It is by the arts that great civlizationsare judged.
The cost of the second air force one ( the spare) would fund every orchestra in this country for 5 years. If you can't see this than what are you doing trying to get in this buisness?
The people that have made it to the point of playing in a pro orchestra have worked harder than you will ever know and deserve our support.
