Am I guessing wrong, or aren't most of these gossipy job audition posts put up by college boys who have grown up in the post-1970's era of $2,000,000 budget high school marching bands that play to "win"...thus their view of auditioning as a "sport" rather than as a "pursuit" ?
All of their talk completely resembles the daily mindless blurb heard on "sports talk" radio stations here in the U.S. Only the subject matter is different.
