As an eye and ear witness, I can tell you that Chester won in 1965 the same way great players (i.e. Charlie Vernon, at least one great player who comes to mind who has been a serial audition winner) have won highly competitive auditions since 1965. He stayed focused, his concentration never wavered, he nailed everything with ease. Those who were not selected, had at some point revealed a loss of one or more of these factors, however momentarily that may have been. If Chester's candidacy is a fact and not someones idea of an early April Fools joke, this could be quite an interesting situation indeed. If Chester were to commit himself to this attempt, with all the talent, mentality, and experience at his disposal, anything is possible.
