This may not be the most popular answer, but maybe Tuba Exchange could be some help. Word of mouth was that the valves and their related mechanisims were a major issue Vince had to face when he starting importing to the US. I can't remember how it was addressed, but I am under the impression that the valve section of the US imports are different, supposedly better. Couldn't hurt to check it out. Hopefully this will be of some help.
