I've played it only twice with orchestras. For some unknown reason, Deutche Grammophon didn't make a decision to record either performance.

Seriously, I might figure out a way to post a picture of the first couple of phrases of mvt's. I and II and you can see - just from that - how the "clean" V.W.-composed phrasing and articulations were butchered by Phil C. and subsequently Oxford University Press.
