There is a similar piston horn that MW produces called the 2155.

I noticed some things about every 2155 that I have play-tested, and wonder if the 2000 has the same characteristics:

1. The 2155 is a loud horn, it takes a fair amount of effort to get it to respond, and is a little tougher than some other horns to play softly or with varying sound colors.

2. The 2155 has a very focused sound (as opposed to an enveloping sound), with a little bite around the edge depending on how you use your air.

3. The 2155 forced me to play with a very focused embouchere in order to make it go.

I was wondering if anyone had similar experiences with the 2155, and if their experiences with the 2000 were also similar in this regard. Or is the 2000 a different animal altogether? There are some things about the 2155 I like, including its ergonomic fit with my body, and was wondering what I would get for an increased outlay of $$ with a MW2000.

Thanks
