Thank you Jeff, for telling everybody about "Otto: Der Liebensfilm." The military was the best thing I could have done for myself at that time in my life. The end of my enlistment couldn't have come soon enough, but for many, it is really a great life. This poster, for example has had some of the hardest asiignments possible, yet still has a positive attitude, plays very well and got a beautiful German wife.
Be sure, the gigs in Washington D.C. are quite good, but I really doubt they would be as much fun as we had in Berlin around the time the wall "fell." I would join an Army band again in a heartbeat if weren't for the whole Army thing.
