I found out today that my high school band director is having Pat Sheridan come in to give a seminar/clinic, sometime in the beginning of next month. For one, I was quite excited to be one of the few people in the band that actually knew who Pat Sheridan is. We listened to a CD of him playing Czardas (I think that's what it was)and there was this fast movement that was just absolutely amazing. (even though the snares in the back of the room kept going off at all the loud notes.) I think he's going to work with us on breathing technique and he also does some useful things on leadership in music groups. I'm very much looking forward to meeting him and maybe I'll get to be on tuba for the seminar!
