I march Blue Stars; we have older-model Dynasties that also have the valves and slides made by Willson. DEG just uses some Willson parts for the horns, and they are a definite improvement over the old parts they had before.
Our brass caption head bought and refurbished one of Phantom's old G Kanstul Contra Grandes for me to use this year; it's a beast, but I love it. The horn plays great and it's very sturdy. Haven't tried one of the new Dynasties, but I hope it's as good as this horn is.
