There is on old 1950's recording on the "Mercury" (Philips) label with Paul Paray conducting the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and from the sound of it there could be atleast one ophecleide in use on this recording. I might be wrong.
Nonetheless, it is a good recording and interpretation. A little on the fast side for my taste, but worth a listen for ideas.
There are some other Berlioz overtures on the same disc, it's all worth a listen.
