Gronitz does not build their own piston valve sets. Walter Nirschl's company did build the majority of the piston valve sets, and then in the 1990's, some division of Gerhard Meinl's TA-Adler Company (Melton, Meinl-Weston, B & S, VMI, etc.) started making piston valve sets. I do not know if W. Nirschl is still making piston valves or not, but those are the two sources for piston valves in Europe.
For whatever reason, there has been a shortage of quality piston valve sets in Europe, which was probably the reason Rudolf Meinl brought out a rotor-version of his 4345.
