I met Dana Wilson a few months ago and he is definitely a male and teaches at Ithaca College. Augusta Read Thomas, teaches at Northwestern, wrote a piece for the Williamsville (NY) Bands called magneticfireflies which is supposed to be quite challenging. A friend of mine is Kim Archer and her music is published by C. Alan Publications. It is quite enjoyable and has been played by some significant groups. Cindy McTee is another composer of band works including California Counterpoint and Circuits.
