The Tubadours were all students at Cal State Fullerton here in Southern California. They worked at Disneyland for several years starting around Christmas of 1975 or '76 I think - could be wrong.

Euphoniums: Scott Lycan and Frank Berry.
Tubas: Bert Harclerode and Ron Davis.

I don't know whatever happened to Scott or Frank. They both were band directors here in So Cal in the late 70's and early 80's but I've lost contact with them. Bert is living and working in music out in Arizona and Ron Davis is Professor of Tuba at the University of South Carolina.

Crystal Records recorded a couple of albums of the music of the Tubadours that are fantastic. Rodger Vaughan, music theory and composition teacher at CSU Fullerton and fellow tubist, did the lion's share of the arranging for the group but the members did some of the charts as well.

The piece they played on the Gong Show was "Yes! We Have No Bananas" arranged by Scott Lycan.

This was more information than you probably wanted… or needed!

Cheers,
Bob
