Purchased from Dillon music in April of 2002.
Very comparible to the Conn 56J//Similiar
.734 bore 4 piston valve tuba
20 inch bell
THick metal/Raw Brass
Virtually dent free
No name on the bell. Appears to be a combination of:
Giant Conn Eb Bell
and other various conn parts
The wrap around the valve section have york design
I have added a 4th valve tuning handle
The Valve section serial numbers from the conn website indicate this was built in 1929
Plays exceptionally in tune. Big core tuba sound.
Comes with a Big Tuxedo gig bag.
