I do a lot of praying actually..I've only missed one engagement in the past 10 years since we moved to the country. It was due to an avalanche which closed Highway 70, the only direct route to connect with US 395 to Reno. It was quintet gig for a candle lighting service at a local Reno church on Christmas Eve a few years back. I was able to get a bass trombone player to cover at the last minute. Whew...
