I play Eb exclusively. Mostly oompah and community band stuff. I've been experimenting with mouthpieces and seem to have settled on a Conn Helleberg 7B. At first it seemed a little big compared to the junk I had been using. I'm also trying to have a go with a Schilke Helleberg and a Bach22 AW. With my old (1935) King bell-front monster the Conn Helleberg seems the best. The Helleberg styles are a little tough on your chops until you get used to the sharp rim, but the end result is awesome. As another person mentioned... you're gonna have to latch on to some used ones until you decide what is best for you. Mouthpieces are as personal as eyeglasses.
