I believe that piano parts are in "C", that is non-transposed. So on your Eb, you would need to learn to read the treble as a note and play that note on your instrument in a credible register. For instance, C just below the treble-clef staff is "middle-C", which is the same as C just above the bass-clef staff and you would therefore play a C on your Eb tuba.

You say you can read treble-clef from your brass band experience. Keep in mind that in brass bands you are reading transposed parts, just like Bb trumpets, etc. That is not the same as reading treble-clef piano scores.
