The 2341 has recently been redesigned, but the "new" 2341 kept the same model number. The "old" 2341 may be identical (or at least very similar) to the 1241. But the "new" 2341 (which has been highly recommended by many recently) is a different critter, with a one-piece bell.
Check the Dillon web site on the "music shops" link at the main page of this site. You can find a picture of the "new" 2341 there, and perhaps an "old" one from time to time on their used tuba page.
