When I saw them in Boston last year the main tuba line were definatly playing CB50/G50 horns when they were playing upright horns. There was a point in the show where they were using about 6 Yamaha marching tubas that at one point they convered to upright and combined with the Getzens to have 10 upright tubas playing at once.
All in all I really enjoyed the show, but I actually like that summer youth marchin' and tootin' activity.
