I know. it's very frustrating. As i've said before, published prices are usually fiction. Please contact me for the best price. It's a little like dealing with a car dealership, where the price is negotiable. I wish they had a set low price, but they think it's the best way to do business.
I have the power to beat any price out there, and I strive to do that. Of course, I cut my own throat when I do this, because I am a commission consultant, but that's why I am also a full time teacher. I know how expensive tubas are, and I just want to help people out. Some who don't know me may think I am lying, but those who do know it is true.
