That would be a safe assumption indeed. These are all monophonic recordings dating from 1954-57. I haven't listened to the whole CD set just yet, but the Sinfonia Antartica sounds pretty good.
I agree with Rick..this is NOT one of the best VW's available, but it is an interesting historical recording. For my money, nothing is going to top the Fletcher recording.
