I am a music store owner, as is David. I agree with him and Charlie completely. Here is just one other way to thing about it:
I (Max) am an "expert" at ________, _________, and I know a good bit about __________. I (Max) know very little about loans/risk/financing/banking/screening customers.
I (Max) will leave those things to those who are "experts" in those areas, and will let the student locate financing (if he is eligible) elsewhere. If the student is NOT eligible anywhere else, why would I - Max, a person who knows little about loans/risk/financing/screening customers, want to take on this task?
(Don't give up the tuba without all of the $$$$)
