Having such a command of any instrument is not generally speaking a problem. If this is causing you to become musically stale, then instead of "switching" to CC, have you condidered adding an F to your resume. This would fill the void of playing contrabass exclusevly, adding a whole new world of opportunities. If you would have to sell your current horn to pay for the new horn, then there have been many worse reasons to switch. Just a thought.
