Ok, I just blew an important audition due to my frequent fluxuations in tempo. Some of the comments were pretty accurate, and I trust the judgement of those that made the call. I've tried to record myself and I ALWAYS practice with a metronome, but it seems whenever it's just me playing by myself I have a hard time keeping the tempo steady, and I don't realize it until it's too late.
What do I do?
