I've got a big B&M Marzan CC from about 1972 that I've decided to sell.

A rare bird--this is a 4 piston+1 rotor job that's spent most of its life in a closet. 0.750" bore, 19.5" removable upright bell; finish is gloss silverplate. Cosmetically and mechanically, this instrument is in superb condition--valves are tight with great compression; there are a few small shallow dents on the body; nothing serious. If you didn't know otherwise, it looks like it could be 3-4 years old. Tips the scales at about 29 lbs.

It has a great dark tone with fine projection, but, like some of the big Marzans, it takes a fair amount of slide manipulation to play in tune. I can do it, but it's more work that I'm comfortable with and besides, I don't really need another big CC.

Bare instrument only; (no case or bag or mouthpiece). I'm asking $3750 OR BEST OFFER. Shipping is FOB Eugene, OR.

Contact me at my email if you need more information.
