Practice the soft palet (ka, tu etc....) alone. Play scales and anything that has slow to moderate articulations only use the back side of the toungue to articulate. Then SLOWLY put this with the front side of the articulation. Later down the list Gary and Norm speak of the importance of great air flow. This is the key to doing anything well on the tuba.
