For example: Find a friend and play 3rds in just intonation leapfrogging each other up the scale: e.g. CE EG# G#C... Do his starting C and your ending C line up? If so, which interval wasn't a "pure" major 3rd? Why did you choose that particular one?

Or simply play a 1-octave arpeggio of 3rds (e.g C, E, G#, C; a nice jazz chord) in "just intonation". Do the C's line up? If so, which of the intervals wasn't a pure major 3rd? Why?
