Unless you own the BBb and it's a decent horn, put it away and don't look back. Play some moderately easy pieces that you already know (Rochut and Kopprasch work great) on CC religiously until you know the fingerings by heart. I can't overemphasize this enough: do NOT transpose from BBb fingerings. Learning new fingerings from scratch may seem harder at first, but will make the transition much faster and complete. If you keep at it every day and use your (I'm sure) beautiful new horn in rehearsals, you should have fingerings down in about 2-3 weeks. Other than that, it may take you awhile (years possibly, depending on what horn you got) to adjust to the horn and it's tendencies, but the fingerings are what are important right now.
