While taking a lesson with Michael Sanders, he demonstrated some excerpts from Alpine Symphony. At the lesson I thought he gave good examples and had excellent words to say, but that night I went to hear the St. Louis Symphony perform it. Mr. Sanders played it exactly the same way he had in my lesson, but suddenly it all made sense. Everything about the performance coveyed, "This is how the tune goes". From the performers warming up, to the concerts itself, there was an ease to it all. It just made sense.
