Hi Joe, I would be interested in the info on the Weril Alto Trombone also. Did you ever play an Amati alto? If so how does it compare with the Weril? The Amati is not too bad, especially for $500. Personally I just want to get a cheap Alto to play around with, and to get my 7 year old started on. I truly doubt I would ever play it in public, except perhaps an occasional solo in church or something, so I certainly am not interested in spending alot of $. I would love to find an inexpensive used Amati or similar Alto Bone. If you know of anything let me know.
