Hello.
At one of the schools that I teach at in the area they own two older small Besson BBb tubas.(sorry I am at home and do not have the model number on hand) They both take only a European Shank mouthpiece. We have purchased two Dennis Wick mouthpieces, upon getting these mouthpieces I tried out the horns.
They are very responsive and quite easy to move around because of their compact size (if you have a dixieland type of gig at which you have to parade around)
