I have had 2 of mine taken out, both at diffrent times. They were also impacted and it took me about 2 weeks for each tooth. I am assuming that you are getting all four out so I have no idea how long that will be. It also depends a lot on you. I am a big baby when it comes to pain so it took me longer to get the guts to play again. But I am sure you are braver than I am=)
After the surgery It was very painful, I am not going to lie. However I bring in that fact that I am not one who deals with pain well, so it might be a diffrent story with others.
It didn't affect anything, and once I did get the guts to play the worst that happened was my stiches popped and that was that.
