Man I am sorry to hear about your problem. My only suggestion is that I would try to cut down on the base bone playing while trying to increase your euphonium playing time. I never had the same problem as you but for one semester I played my tuba and euphonium in my colleges wind ensemble, and a bass bone in a trombone quartet. I admit that my bass bone playing was very weak and thus took up much of my practice time. I would never want to take on that kind of playing responsibilities again, I lost a lot of sleep.
