I noticed the memo said the Rt. 50 gate would be closed, so use the Iwo Jima Memorial Gate. I have been out there once before for an evening concert. I don't remember how we got there, but when we left we were right at Rt. 50 which made a quick trip home. Mapquest tries to send you down 66, and the ADC map I have doesn't seem to call the gates by the same names as the web site. Taking 50 East from Manassas/Fairfax City, What road/s am I looking to turn onto to find the open gate?
Thanks for all the help. My son does not consider possible traffic congestion a reason to miss any of the conference that occurs while he is out of school. He is totally psyched for tuba fun & adventure.
