While I'm virtually certain that you could kick my ass all day long, I just meant to point out that I think that there are some differences in the HB21 that make it less appealing to me than the HB2P, specifically in regards to intonation immediately below the staff. I also found the HB2P to sing a bit easier in and above the staff.
The University where I teach owns an HB21 and I've had the opporunity to play it a good bit. Having played an HB2P for years, I find the 21 frustrating, even more so than my "inexpensive tuba". Seemed like that, in an effort to get the leadpipe directly into the instrument, that some compromises were made.
I'm sure that you play yours great and that many others do as well. I'll look forward to hearing you play someday.
