Jay I can relate with you on not having to push and pull on my slides with my 6/4 Holton. Everything just lines up real nice. Mouthpiece wise I move between the Laskey 30H and the Jacobs. After a recent lesson with Mr Fedderly I plan to venture into using some shallower cup mp's for different situations. While there he had me blow on his old Schilke adjustable and what a treat that was. Supposedly there are only 5 or6 originals in existance. He made me realize why Mr Jacobs always changed mp's to accomidate the music.
