I saw the new movie, "Thirteen Days" last night. Lots of tuba, bass trombone, cello and string bass stuff in the sound track. There was one passage toward the end that had a luscious, resonant bass trombone note that must be heard to be believed. Had to leave the theater before viewing all the credits, so I don't know what group played the music.
