He has been back several times. Last night, he littered the top half of the list with a number of posts of just finger wiggling on the keyboard, apparently for the sole purpose of forcing Sean to spend a lot of time cleaning up after him. Sean manages this list as an act of generosity that all of us appreciate deeply. But if he has to spend too much time cleaning up after troublemakers, then he may decide he has better things to do with his time. That would be a terrible shame. Your friend owes Sean an apology at the very least.
If you know him, tell him that this list, like nearly all Internet forums, is pretty friendly to responsible people of all ages, and pretty unfriendly to those who disrupt for the sake of seeing their own damage, or those who cannot receive disagreement and remain civil. Personally, I think he should ponder that for about another five years before trying again.
