Could be a broken or loose brace, loose wreath or a foreign object lodged in your horn.
Recruit a friend to hold varioius parts of the tuba while you play. I once had a rattle that seemed to be coming from the bell (at least it got quieter when I touched the bell), but in fact, was a loose brace on the 4th branch. While you're at it, flush and snake the horn out--sometimes a loose object inside the horn will rattle only on certain notes.
