This serial number dates this horn from 1930, so it should play in modern pitch. Unfortunately the value of any instrument is equal to what someone is willing to pay for it at the time. A good proxy for this is the eBay selling price of similar instruments. What you don't mention is the condition i.e. 3 or 4 valves, silver plated, how many dents it has, does it have leaks, breaks in the metal, are the valves leaky, etc? I have seen similar horns sell anywhere from $400 - $1200, but it really depends on the condition. It could be worth more if it is in perfect condition.
