I've had this problem when I first started to poke around in the upper register on my horn and a few people I've talked to have also had this problem. Most of them have said it was due to long term fatigue in the embouchure, usually caused by strain over a long period of time. Especially in the upper register, where the tension gets higher. The double buzz is caused by an opening other than the aperture. Sometimes it's caused by excess spit on your lips. What worked for me was that I made sure I kept my corners firm and pointed downward. Not pinched, but just enough to keep the nice oval shape the the aperture. Also I point my airstream slightly downward as I go into the upper register. This worked great for me. If all else fails, I would see if I could find any of Arnold Jacobs teachings about this. The book by Brian Fredrikson about him has alot of great material about stuff like this. I hope this helps you.Good luck.
